Mandala for Meditation
Mandala Meditation
Each morning awake
know during coming hours
will make new creation.
Colors with meaning
smooth curved designs
kept between black lines
forever moving toward
center.

When I was a child,
somewhat wild, staying
between lines was hard work.
Curse of failure if small
hand slipped, while tip
of tongue held between
lips, could only hope
this time would be
different.
Now know that those
slips were never mistakes,
but adventures to take,
find ways to compensate,
to create,
integrate
new paths with old,
always seeking
whole picture.
