Marananthaheth

NaPoWriMo 2020: Day 25

There is a fiery red
dragon who lives and breathes
within my imagination.

A mentor of
immeasurable wisdom,
she calls me “Little One”,
with deepest affection.

And yes, she breathes fire,
making words sometimes leap
to do my bidding.

More often, she brings laughter
that helps me relax
from whatever stiffness that might
inhibit me.

Owns a fiery red heart
of deepest devotion
to see me succeed
on this path we together

have chosen.

Notes: Image was taken from the Internet, author unknown. Marananthaheth is her name, and I cannot do NaPo without mentioning her. She came long ago, and all I can be is grateful for her endearing persistence. She is the fire that warms all of my creative adventures.

So wonderful that Marananthaheth has made an appearance. I cant believe it is the 25th, the month has flown, though we have gone places only at our desks. It is a joy to be reading you again, my friend.

    Your spirit animal and muse!

Actually, Irene you are partially correct. Marananthaheth is the guardian and protector of my rather vivid imagination. My spirit animal is a huge tiger named Pain. His story may be found on my 1sojournal site.
