Juggled Wisdom

Bring on the wonder
Bring on the song
I’ve pushed you down deep
In my soul
For too long.

Lyrics to Bring On The Wonder_ sung by Sarah McLachlan
written by Susan Enan
can be heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMxwaoR-Re8

Strands of soul sustain
plans found in a dream,

country of being, where time
is a melodic capsule that facilitates,

embraces, state of looking back.
Like letters written by another self

sent to encourage present. Aspects
of unknowing, juggled wisdom,

somehow clearly state, “This is where
you have always been going.”

Elizabeth Crawford 1/26/14

Notes: When I got the wordle words, I was completely stymied, didn’t have a clue as to what to do with them. Kept putting them away, hoping something would come to me. Late
Saturday evening when pulling them up, yet one more time, I had that sinking feeling. Then thought about my last two posts here, both were based in music. Music, especially song lyrics, has ever been a conduit for me. In desperation, I sat back, took a deep breath, and asked myself what song might help me here. Immediately started hearing Sarah singing these words. Listened to it while looking at the words and they finally started moving. I followed. There is a reason this site is called Soul’s Music.

  1. I think we all dream ourselves before we become who we are. Sometimes I wonder, has it all been written, only actors on a stage?

I had a similar dread looking at today’s words..mine didn’t seem to come out as usual either! A different tune insisting to be heard maybe..I like it when it (almost) sings itself..

    Ahh… I especially like:

    time
is a melodic capsule that facilitates,

    embraces, state of looking back

Music is like that for me, too.

It is comforting to hear the voice within, the wisdom voice , report ‘this is where you have always been going.’

Sometimes it is amazing how we find the answer to the question of where we are going. I do think we find many answers to deep questions in dreams.

Elizabeth, you managed a very difficult set of words, and created a beautiful piece of writing. Music always helps me when I write.

    Love always,

  10. This is where you have always been going is a great line. I am glad to be where I am right now. Who knows where we’ll all be tomorrow? God bless.

Yes, the words do tend to slap us round the face a bit before something emerges, usually quite unlike what you were thinking about writing in the first place. However your words make so much sense, perhaps we always have been where “you have always been going” in hindsight.

  12. Isn’t it weird how that happens! You look at the words and nothing and then away you go.
The mind is an amazing thing.
