Music has been such a constant in my life, that I have been known to have dreams, both waking and sleeping, where life suddenly bursts into a scene from some old classic Musical film. Of course, in those dreams, I myself sound a bit like Judy Garland, Barbra Striesand, or Julie Andrews.
That has always been a secret of mine, kept tucked away because its a bit over the top and just a smidgeon embarrassing to boot. But, a few days ago, I realized that this might not be such a rare or uncommon experience after all. I recently came across this video that would suggest there are a few of us dreamers and music fans still doing our thing.
Have been back to watch it several times, and each time find myself grinning, humming along, and moving to the music. For me, its contagious. So, instead of a poem today, I’m posting the site and hope you watch and enjoy it as much as I have done. I know that a large part of the group must be members of a dance troupe, but it delights me to watch those who simply stumbled into this moment of unrestrained fun and the stuff of dreams.
