Topsy-Turvy 2

NaPoWriMo 2020 – Day 27

A5RKXR Upside down tortoise

We have all become
Tipped topsy-turvy
on our backs.
Appendages useless, waving
madly in air,
trying to right

Can’t be done
without a helping
reaching out
to flip
whatever has been
turned upside down.

Could be no more
than a soft warm smile
of a stranger
A kind word
of encouragement
to simply continue
living our lives
as best we can
in a world
become unrecognizable.

And the cost
of receiving such a gift
is just as simple:

Pass It On.
