Stray Thought 7

“I agree,
curiosity is a very good thing,
but how does ‘what if…’ become
a butterfly of transformation,
a beacon, a shining star
that beckons you on,
allowing you to navigate
the deepening waters
of the rest of your life?”

My goodness.. how! This poem takes me to the edge of mainland Europe from where the original Portuguese discoverers set sail to find a sea route to India, not sure if they’d ever come back alive. It is strange how I connected this to your poem. Thanks so much for sharing!
