April PAD Challenge: Day 27

A crack becomes a gap

in time

becomes a canyon

which fills with melt and rain

to become a river

flowing ever lower

seeking level ground

where it becomes a pool

in time

a pond, then a lake

where life is fed

and flourishes

in time.

Notes: Inspiration came from a reflection on the phrase degrees of separation. Image is an accidental photograph taken while at a nearby park trying to capture the myriad patterns created by spring flow.
