April PAD Challenge: Day 19

Line Dancing

There’s more than one way
to dance black ink
on white paper.

Yes, words have meaning
can tell a story
that moves the soul.

But, black lines repeated
might take breath away
and swiftly lift spirits,

to soar amidst clouds
weaving through currents
in solitary wing waltz.

Might create intricate patterns
that capture the eye
while soothing inner turmoil.

Might make different music
that moves lonely heart,
to which I can only hope

you would dance.

Notes: Image is a pen and ink, repeat pattern drawing which began
as a simple stencil of circles. I call it a Zentangle.

It reminds me of this song, by Lee Ann Womack.
