For Creativity Challenge Day 16: Color

A World of Color
Mine is a world of color,
language and lines.
Sometimes black words
of hate spewed from mouth
of strangers, tinted overall
in red of passion engorged rage.
One moment green with growth
and the next a murky twilight
haze of deep blue and purple
blocking any clearer view.
Soon enough, mellowing to yellow
of hope for a better place, space
of clear water blue, where green
grows vibrant again, in rich brown soil.
Whirl of fast twirling thoughts
that precede a greyed lavender cloud
of storm, flashing dazzling
white streak of lightning
against a weathered sky.
Perhaps best, are times when mind goes blank,
becomes only black background for white
line of thought, reaching in geometric
patterns that might entrance for hours.

Notes: Images were all created by me: digital paintings, designs then colored with India Ink, or pen and ink line weave drawings manipulated and then inverted.
Beautifully colorful, my friend. Interesting prompt.
