When Wordle Words Won’t Work

List of words was singularly simple.
Said hello and sat back to wait
for sizzle of power that happens
when they find their rightful place.

Watched numbers on clock
slip from existence, nothing.
Twisted language into pleading,
even prayer, got only silence.

Except for muffled stomping,
like herd of buffalo receding
into far horizon, never
to return.

Those words are really recalcitrant sometimes aren’t they? However undaunted (or was your daunt put on?) the picture you painted was fine. I too have noticed that stomping feet and even growling doesn’t work…juggling however does!
