Dreaming Wisdom

Had dreamed for years. But, her vision
remained unfocused, nestled in dark corner
on floor of her heart. Refused to be persuaded,
in any degree, toward movement.

Was embarrassed to admit that real changes
must be attributed to a total stranger who
softly spoke a simple truth:

“If you wish to see your dream fulfilled,
you must make a space for it. Accord it
a period of time daily in which you work
to define it’s purpose and destination.

Stay with these steps and soon you will know
that you have ever been the only dream
you have been dreaming.”

Oh, I need to listen to verse three. Good advice and good poeming. Something about the words took your poem and mine to a similar place.
