For November PAD Challenge: Image #30

Moments
Life is measured out
in various moments,
remembered
for their current impact.
There are moments
which arrive from past,
like wild, aggressive
predators, fangs bared
ready to rip and tear
into the present.
Others that come gently,
slipping into place,
like a shy awkward fawn
playing hide and seek
through tall summer grasses.

Such a beautiful poem and image this morning, Elizabeth. So gentle.
Thanks Sherry and glad you enjoyed. Thanks so much for being here through the month,

While not common, I have seen a doe and her fawns in our neighborhood. They must hide in some of the wooded area on a near by hill or by the easement that the power company tries to keep clear of trees. Such a peaceful animals…
My piece is here:

Jules, the deer is a symbol of gentleness, especially toward ones own person. I know it’s popular to go out with a bang, but I saved this photo for last because it is gentle and loving. Thanks for staying the course through the month,
Elizabeth
