Geode
Manipulated Photograph

Elizabeth Crawford
Geode
Rock hard substance
outside,
crystal radiance
within.
Like some individuals,
who spend years
building brick walls
around all tender
places,
never allowing
even slightest glimpse
of inner light,
or spaces.

Very thought-provoking, Elizabeth, and as always a beautiful piece of art.
Have always been interested in how people work, Misky. Was given a geode, many years ago, and it made beautiful sense to me,

Ah, we went in a similar direction with this image.
We actually have about a five and a half inch geode…

Yes, we did Jules. I have a much smaller one, but no less precious for that,

Geodes are so interesting. You certainly found their voice within your poem.
Yes, they are Jlynn, and like people, each one is different, especially on the inside,

Such an apt comparison, Elizabeth. Cool image also.
