Early Morning Mountain Mist
Digital Painting
by
Elizabeth Crawford
At rooftop of the world,
early morning mountain mist
can’t resist bending
to embrace upturned
rugged faces.
Her cool soothing kiss
softens each sharp
rock-hard
crevice.

I love the poem, Elizabeth, and your digital image is BEAUTIFUL. Love the idea of the mist kissing the “upturned faces” of the rock.
Thanks Sherry, this one wanted to be written in a certain way. I’m glad it did,

I love your poem, Elizabeth. So gentle and tender.
Misky, I dreamed of seeing the mountains for years. Then took a road trip to Montana and had to pull off the road when I saw the mist rolling over the mountains like white water rapids. Needless to say, I have a tender place deep inside for the mountains. Thanks for sticking with us through this past month,
Elizabeth
