Approaching Storm

Wind-rippled waters
“Time to hunker down
in wool-like warmth,
to dream howling
good dreams
of wind and water
that nurture
deepest desire
to find home.”

Reminds me of those animals that hibernate for the winter. Also time to get out the ‘woolie’ under-garments! It is only in the mid 40s F this morning. And no sun yet at 11:30am!

Thanks Jules. Although I have always liked this image, it makes me feel cold and damp and longing for a cozy corner and home.

  2. sounds like a good winter rain just lay there and stay warm and listen to the rain, get in that state between being awake and sleeping and let the mind just explore the freedom to explore.

You nailed it Tatius, that’s what the image has always made me feel. Thanks for joining in,
