About Those Numbers

One is alone
when two is a pair.

Three is company
cause four must be squared.

Five is too common,
with six in the air,

and seven is unlucky,
while eight can be shared.

Nine may come close to perfect,
but ten? Ten is grossly unfair.

Elizabeth Crawford  11/11/11

Notes: Sinuses still plugged, that is definitely an excuse.
