Unexpected Trigger

Felt like cold stone melting.
No heat, just sudden softening
in wall of awareness. Redefining
what was left behind, put away,
hopefully forgotten in slow
passing years.

Not the same. Different place,
different time,
totally different dynamics,
very different man.

No connection,
except that cold stone juggernaut
of rage rising slowly within.
Coming alive,
opening eyes,
seeking
a target.

Elizabeth Crawford  11/4/11

Note: Did not release that heat seeking missile. Knew it was misdirected, but also knew exactly where it came from: deep in the past. The incident happened yesterday. An opportunity to heal an old wound. This prompt was a wonderful piece of synchronicity. Thank you, Robert.
